Jefferson County 9-1-1 is a CALEA accredited agency. CALEA (Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies) provides a communication center with a process to systemically review and internally assess its operations and procedures.

Jefferson County 9-1-1 Dispatch

Jefferson County 9-1-1 Dispatch has been serving the county since 1992. Originally the center was staffed by a General Manager, 3 Administrative personnel, 4 Supervisors, and 16 Dispatchers. We now have a Chief, Assistant Chief, Business Manager and 5 additional Administrative Personnel.

The Communications Division is now staffed with a Quality Assurance Manager, 4 Supervisors, 36 Full-Time Dispatchers, and 5 Part-Time Dispatchers.

The 911 Center is governed by 7 Board Members.
